A COMMITMENT TO ME

"First National's Online Bill Pay service lets me spend less time shuffling paper, stamps, and envelopes. I just look at my bills online — at my convenience — and pay them with a click. One short session a month, maybe two, and I'm done. Some bills — mortgage and car payments — I set up to pay automatically. Others I authorize individually.

Either way, First National handles the rest. Every bill is paid on time, and I can view or download the records so I know exactly what’s happening. And all with complete privacy and security.

The only extra time involved was setting up each creditor — which took about as long as it used to take to pay one set of bills. At every step, the bank answered my questions and helped me get going.

Saving some time on little things leaves more time for important things."

A COMMITMENT TO ME

"First National has been a good friend to us, and to the abused and neglected children we serve.

We operate two group homes, where 16 children live, and we serve another 125-150 in visitation programs. First National helped us out in a crisis, back when we opened, and they’ve been with us ever since.

They’ve gotten to know us, with Christmas presents and donations to our activity rooms. More importantly, they spend time with our kids.

The bank helps sponsor the Home Builders’ Hog Happnin', which raises money for the homes, and several of their employees have served on our board.

We bank with them, too — deposits, checking, investments. They help the agency plan for the future and they help us teach our kids about money management through the use of savings accounts. We're partners."

A COMMITMENT TO ME

"We recently bought a house with help from Sharice Bowling at Coldwell Banker and Jim Wood at First National.

While Sharice helped us find what we needed, Jim worked on our loan. He was more involved in loan decisions than other mortgage brokers, and that was important to us. It meant that decisions about our lives weren’t being made by someone we'd never met, in some other city.

We also sold our old house, and we suggested to the buyer that she contact First National too. As a first-time buyer, she was delighted at how smoothly getting a loan went, and how well they answered her questions.

For some banks, 'personal banking' is just an advertising slogan. At First National, it's who they are."
